Teamwork
I have led teams of designers on projects developing design solutions for companies like Reebok, HP, and Lowe's. I believe that it is a leader's responsibility to facilitate the success of each member of the team in addition to the success of the project itself. By understanding and leveraging the strengths of cross-disciplinary teams, design solutions can be made more clever, innovative, and effective.

Education
I believe that the single most effective investment a society can make in its future is quality education for its members. I strive to pass along my own knowledge and experience to other designers. I have taught summer seminars at the Savannah College of Art and Design, leading high school students through week-long workshops on the subject of industrial design, as well as helped to launch the SCAD chapter of the sustainable business organization NET Impact.
