A conversation with Peter Relic from SCADWorks about design.

I recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by SCADWorks writer Peter Relic about my project with designer Yaser Al Hasan creating the skipping stone toy Anura. We talked about design, journalism, writing, and how to use criticism to make your work better. The interview is available on SCADWorks blog here

"Make a hundred versions that you hate. Instead of calling it failure, call it iteration. Iteration is repeated, constructive failure. Which is really the only way to do anything. I don’t think anybody ever learned anything by getting it right the first time."
